Schoolwork I have created alongside many young artists out there: Ty- Isaf Infant School Aboriginal artwork created by Year Two pupils. Having studied the origins, work and dreams of the Aboriginees they created designs in pairs and then painted their designs onto a wooden plaque which was used to create a lovely backdrop on the stage of the hall. They made a great job and found the work interesting and they were so proud of their teamwork work. Displays such as this also provide the school and teachers with fewer areas to Display which is an added bonus! African Work using material, mod-roc, wire, beads etc – real multimedia piece were also created at this school. Schoolwork Enabling children to complete their own works of Art is one of my passions. I believe that children need to create permanent works of Art and in doing so begin to care about their environment through ownership. They have created many works of Art with myself acting as a facilitator and guide offering my own painting or creative skills in the process. |
